ID is required to vote in Wisconsin. Valid forms of ID include:
- A Wisconsin DOT-issued driver license, even your driving privileges have been revoked or suspended, with or without a star in the right-hand corner.
- A Wisconsin DOT-issued identification card, with or without a star in the right-hand corner, or an unexpired driving or identification receipt issued by Wisconsin DOT.
- Military ID card issued by a U.S. uniformed service.
- A U.S. passport.
- An identification card issued by a federally recognized Indian tribe in Wisconsin.
- A student ID issued by Wisconsin that contains a photo, the date it was issued, your signature and the expiration date is not more than 2 years from the date it was issued. If your student ID is expired, the you must also provide by a separate document that proves current enrollment.
- An unexpired veteran’s photo identification card issued by the Veterans Health Administration.
- An unexpired certificate of naturalization that was issued in the last two years.

The address on your ID does not have to be current and the name on your ID does not need to be an exact match for your name in the poll book.
